Terms of Use

Last updated 27 September 2026

By using klireapp.com, the demo, or a Klire account, you agree to what follows. If you don't agree with it, please don't use the service.

1. What Klire is

Klire is a planning tool. You enter figures — how much cash you hold, what you spend, what you earn, what you know is coming — and it does arithmetic on them to estimate when you run out of money.

That is the entire mechanism. It is a calculator with a good chart, not an oracle.

Read this one properly

Klire is not financial, tax, investment, accounting or legal advice. Nothing it displays is a recommendation to take or avoid any action. It does not know your circumstances, your obligations, or anything you did not type into it. Before making a decision that matters — a hire, a raise, a redundancy, a tax filing — talk to a qualified accountant or advisor. Do not make payroll decisions on the strength of this tool alone.

2. It is a beta, and it behaves like one

3. Accuracy is your responsibility

Every number Klire shows is derived from numbers you supplied. If your inputs are stale or wrong, the output will be confidently wrong in the same direction. Projections assume the future resembles the assumptions you set, which it rarely does exactly.

The sample figures in the public demo describe a fictional company. They are illustration, not benchmark.

4. Your account

5. Your data belongs to you

You keep all rights to everything you put into Klire. I claim no ownership of your figures and will not use them to train anything or share them with anyone.

The only permission you give is the narrow technical one required to run the service: to store your data, process it, and display it back to you. It ends when you delete your account. How data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service; don't try to access another user's data; don't resell access; don't use Klire to do anything illegal.

7. Pricing and the founding offer

8. Ending things

You can stop at any time and ask for deletion — see the Privacy Policy. I may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if Klire shuts down, in which case I'll give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

9. No warranty, and limits on liability

Klire is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue, or business decisions taken in reliance on Klire's output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid in the previous twelve months or $50.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of residence, and disputes will be handled there, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country gives you a different right — in which case that right stands.

This clause is deliberately provisional. Klire has no incorporated entity yet. Once one exists, this section will be replaced with a specific jurisdiction and you will be told before the change takes effect.

11. Changes to these terms

The date at the top changes when these terms do. Material changes will be emailed to anyone with an account before they take effect. Continuing to use Klire after that means you accept them.

12. Contact

One inbox, and I read it: hello@klireapp.com.
